Berta Zuckerkandl

(April 13, 1864 in Vienna, died. Octob er 16, 1945 in Paris) - Austrian writer. Moritz Szeps daughter, t he wife of Emil Zuckerkandl, szwagierka George s Clemenceau. Bod y ZuckerkandlĂłw was a meeting place for leading figures in the a rtistic world of Vienna; frequented there, Gustav Klimt, Gustav Mahler, Max Reinhardt, Arthur Schnitzler, and others. Zuckerkandl was co-founder of the Salzburg Festival, in 1938, emigrated to Paris, then to Algiers. Died on 16 October 1945 in Paris.
